For information about some of the musicians who have recorded with Steve Himes, go to personnel. The Blue Notes is an exciting trio which features McDonald Cary on the Hammond B-3 organ and Chris Hudson on drums. This group covers many styles of jazz in the classic organ trio style as well as groove driven funk, blues, Brazilian rhythms and R&B. Fantastic vocalist, Rachel Franks also appears with the trio on many occasions. A must-see group! The New Connection is a completely different venture which features Chris Allen on bass and Cliff Riley on drums. This group covers many of the original compositions which appear on the two CD's by The Steve Himes Connection plus new originals and quirky versions of cover tunes from nearly every genre.
